Madhya Pradesh government employees

State employees are paid under the Madhya Pradesh Vetan Punarikshan Niyam (Pay Revision Rules), 2017, the state's 7th pay revision. The rules were notified by the Finance Department on 20 July 2017 (No. F-8-1/2016/Niyam/Char) and are deemed to apply from 1 January 2016. They follow the central 7th CPC pattern: pay is fixed by multiplying existing basic pay by 2.57 and placing it in a pay matrix of levels. The levels are mapped to the state's own pay bands and grade pays, so the cell values are not identical to the central matrix (for example, the state's Level 1 starts at Rs 15,500). The rules leave arrears for 1 January 2016 to 30 June 2017 to separate orders. Source
