Punjab government employees
Punjab has its own pay commission. Most employees are paid under the Punjab Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2021 (Finance Department notification No. 09/01/2021-5FP1/671, 5 July 2021), based on the 6th Punjab Pay Commission and deemed in force from 1 January 2016. These rules do not apply to employees recruited on or after 17 July 2020, who are on 'pay scales on the pattern of the Government of India', that is, the central 7th CPC structure. Source
