Goa government employees

Goa adopts the central 7th CPC pay structure for its employees rather than running its own pay commission. Its Finance (Revenue & Control) Department order No. 8/1/2016-Fin(R&C)/(A), dated 30 November 2016, applied the 7th CPC revised pay structure to state government employees and staff of grant-in-aid educational institutions; a companion order of the same date, No. 8/1/2016-Fin(R&C)/(B), revised pensions from 1 January 2016. Goa posts are fixed at central pay matrix levels (for example Level-4 to Level-9 in Official Gazette orders), and DA is raised by adopting the Government of India's DA office memoranda. Source
