Employees of the Government of NCT of Delhi are on the central pay structure (7th CPC pay matrix). Delhi does not set up its own pay commission: its Finance Department forwards central pay and DA orders to Delhi departments, autonomous bodies and local bodies for action. Source

Next pay revision for state employees: The 8th CPC's terms of reference cover 'Personnel of the Union Territories'. The Commission invited associations of 'Central Government / UT employees located / registered in Delhi' to interact on 7 and 10 August 2026 (notice No. 25/2/2026-App/8CPC, 23 July 2026).
