Chhattisgarh government employees

Chhattisgarh employees are paid under the Chhattisgarh Pay Revision Rules, 2017 (Chhattisgarh Vetan Punarikshan Niyam, 2017), the state's 7th pay revision. Finance Department notification No. F 2016-04-03303/Finance/Rule/Four, dated 19 May 2017, applied the rules from 1 January 2016; regular payment in the new scales began on 1 July 2017, and arrears for January 2016 to June 2017 were paid in six annual instalments, the last ordered on 16 March 2024. The rules use a pay matrix with levels on the central 7th CPC pattern (Schedule 1 of the rules specifies the pay matrix). The state's DA orders call this the 'seventh pay scale'. Source
